It happened so that me and my friend stayed at this hotel 4 times during our more than month journey to Cuba 🇨🇺, Colombia 🇨🇴, Ecuador 🇪🇨 , Peru 🇵🇪 and Brazil 🇧🇷. We chose Bogota as a hub for our traveling to Quito, Amazonia and Santa-Marta on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Advantages of this hotel. - Located very close to Eldorado airport (just 20 minutes ride by a taxi for COP 20,000-35,000 depending on the time, city traffic and weather conditions). - The neighborhood (Palermo district of Bogota) is safe, there are many different cafes, shops and pharmacies around). The hotel is separated from the street by a fence and guarded 24 hours a day. - Close to Bogota famous landmarks and city museums (the Gold Museum, the Emerald Museum, Fernando Botero Museum, the Military Museum, the Museum of Colonial Art, the Bogota City Museum, the Emerald Trade Center, the Montserrat Mountain Cable Car 🚠). - The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. - A safe and a fridge are inside each room. - Comfortable bed. - Sufficient pressure in shower in the bath room. - The staff is very polite and attentive. They helped us with keeping some of our luggage 🛅 in the storage room dining our travels to other destinations. Nothing disappeared during our absense. Also when checking out from hotel the last time the employees permitted us to be in the rooms some minutes more to enable us to collect the luggage. - When you have such a wish it is possible to order breakfast which is standard for almost all Latin American countries: a choice out of different varieties of cooked eggs, a tropical fruit salad, oat meals and cereals, bread with butter and jam, coffee and juice.

The staff was exceptionally nice. The breakfast staff even remembered how we like our coffee by the second day. The breakfast buffet and fruit choice was amazing, very varied with something for everyone. The beds were very, very comfortable with good pillows, and I'm picky in that regard. The shower pressure was great with nice, hot water. The room had all facilities and kits you would need. We required a different room, and the reception staff was also very accommodating. Laundry service was also great! I know Bogotá, so for me the location is perfect for what I needed. It's not central per se, but it's a safe and quiet neighbourhood with a great mall on front and lots of nice little vendors and shops around.
