We had a great stay at Donghu. The hotel had a lot of charm, everything was clean. We had fresh water, tea and coffe everyday. We booked the business room which was spacious enough for us to stay 5 nights. The location is close to a lot of cute shops and restaurants. The metro is about a 15 min walk. I recommend to prepare some phrases in Chinese, as most of the staff doesn’t speak English. However we never had any issues, as they were very helpful.

The Temple is really wonderful and absolutely reconmendable...

The Temple is really wonderful and absolutely reconmendable to be visited as Tourist attraction and the Park opposite of the road is very active - somehow really crowded - but a 200 m behind is a more relaxing small lake and a bistro- like kiosk , that is a place to calm down enjoying cool drinks or excellent coffee or tasty green tea or ice cream ! Don t miss that !

Nice and well kept temple, RMB 50 per entry, can just pay to enter, cash & e wallet also acceptable. Opposite a small park with local/street performance during weekend and next to a trendy mall.

The studio is very spacious for one or two people and has everything you need for a medium to long-term stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Jing’an Temple metro station, right in the heart of downtown Shanghai. The hosts were incredibly friendly and even waited for my late return so I could collect my luggage after checking out. Communication was quick, clear, and easy throughout my stay.

Nice cozy apartment, fully equipped with anything you need for stay as a tourist. I really like the front yard, I even had a friendship with a cutie neighbor’s white cat :) It has a great location, because it’s close to the great sightseeing, Jing’an Temple, and also to the subway station. I also really appreciate the online check-in and check out, the staff is always in touch online to help out with any questions.
