- Hotel is classy, luxurious and modern - The rooms were spacious, comfortablel and well furnished - The staff was helpful and the service top notch - Breakfast was varied between western and eastern dishes - Club lounge was delightful - Location in Dongcheng with proximity to touristic sites within 30m walk(tiananmen, temple of heaven, dashilan street, Wangfujin street...) and subway stations within 10-15m walk. We absolutly loved our stay.

The Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel Beijing is situated in Beijing's East Chang'an Avenue, opposite and a 5-minute walk from Beijing Railway Station (also the subway station).

Hotel located very centrally - straight outside Beijing railway station. The subway line (line 2) is just outside ( barely 5 min walk to the platform) Rooms are clean,comfortable and well laid out The front office is efficient and pleasant ( despite not knowing much of English- they manage with translator app) The room service is excellent, esp the housekeeping staff The breakfast( very quaint place on the 5th floor central atrium) is elaborate and has both western and Chinese options. They have a Chinese Restaurent on the 3rd floor where the food is very good and prices are reasonable considering the 30% discount the hotel residents get. There are basic shopping ( grocery, eatables) very close to the hotel. All attractions are easily accessible by the subway line and so we never felt short of anything.

As one of the most unique hotels in Beijing, Legendale Hotel Beijing is the epitome of European elegance and luxury.

I fell sick during my stay and the room/bed was so comfortable it truly didnt feel bad staying in. The gym was excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The nearest two stations (jianguomen and chaoyanmen) are a distance away, like 15 min away but the path was lined with cherry blossoms while I was there so I enjoyed the walk back. One you hit the stations, the main attractions are few stops away.
