It was very convenient! The staff were very good. They helped us as our car had broken down upon arrival. We even got a lift out to Jindabyne’s from one lovely lady because our towed car was in Cooma on New Year’s Eve!

Sensational scenery. Well formed walking paths.

Sensational scenery. Well formed walking paths. If doing the walks to the lookout or the summit , dress appropriately for the weather - sunscreen, layered clothing, waterproof gear, sunglasses, water and comfortable walking shoes.

We used the Thredbo Alpine hotel as our base for hiking to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, for which it was perfect. The reception staff were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for all the facilities of the resort. When we had to delay our summit climb to the last day of our stay, they were happy to let us leave our car in the hotel car park beyond the official leaving time.
