The place was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, and the quiet setting made it perfect for a relaxing break.

We travel around a lot and always choose an apartment as it offers more freedom. We’ve stayed it lots but nothing comes close to this! Absolutely beautiful apartment recently renovated. The owners Karl and Helen are amazing. They have thought of every single detail. Even leaving us mince pies and some wine. Not a single item not thought about to make our stay as easy as possible. The apartment was so clean and smelt amazing. Very comfortable bed. Finished to an incredibly high standard. Bala its self has always been a favourite place of mine it’s now by far the best place ever, as my partner dropped to one knee and asked the question . On speaking with the owners who were so helpful and kind about our experience and stay that’s when they informed us that Llety Cariad translates to the Love Inn in English. Bala itself is beautiful and the community spirit is great. Amazing food available at the pub next door. And don’t be fooled by small town they do wild nights out! Everywhere we went was so welcoming and friendly.

This is the second time we've stayed at Snowdonia Cottage (Glyn Mawr).. It is a beautiful cottage in an absolutely stunning and quiet location. If you want total seclusion and tranquillity, this is it. Simon is a great host/owner who is very quick to respond to any requests via the app. Donna, the housekeeper, is lovely, and she works very hard to ensure the property is immaculately kept. The cottage is minimally furnished, but to a very high standard of quality, comfort, and finish... To be honest there isn't anything that could top it; it's near on perfect in our opinion, and we'd return in a heartbeat.

The hosts were amazing in every way. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I feel like the house was set up to make things easy and it made traveling with kids so much easier.

Hen Ysgubor Cottage, a property with a garden, is located in Bala, 39 km from Horseshoe Pass, 40 km from Lake Vyrnwy, as well as 47 km from Chirk Castle. This was our second visit to Hen Ysgubor. The hosts are very helpful and on site if there are any issues. The property is excellent for a restful get away, well furnished and comfortable. Everything you could wish for. We would definately recommend it. Extremely clean and tidy and has stunning views from both the front and back of the property. We will be returning.
