I enjoyed the overall cleanliness of the property. The location was also very well located, it is walking distance to restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet at night. What a gem of a place! This was our final night in SA and I am so glad we found La Villa. Everything from the beautiful building, surroundings, the art and interior decoration to the staff, Manager Michelle and the breakfast. Surrounded by their vineyard, the whole place feels a million miles from anywhere. The room (room 2) was perfect; beautiful decor, large shower and huge bath tub - nestled away in its own little private courtyard. The pool was wonderful as were the grounds/gardens. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel/b&b. The walk into the main town was just 15 minutes through the residential streets, admiring all the wonderful houses. Honestly could not fault this place (and I am picky!) and wished we had a couple more days here.

The accomodation was great, with a cute little private pool and all the things you would need. They were easy to communicate with over whatsapp and were so accomodation with our arrival and breakfast. The breakfast was delivered to our doorstep and was beautifully presented.

The stone cottage - no one around, amazing views! Very comfortable outdoor chairs and nice seating set up in general, just perfect for braiing! I booked a 3 night stay at De Kuilen Nature Reserve to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. What a memorable stay and celebration. The weather wasn't great which made our stay even better. The Springbok House has a cozy fire place that warms up the entire place. Don't bother packing anything, the house was fully equipped - right down to a Potjie pot. If I can give you one tip, follow Matimba's directions to the T. We got a bit lost (entirely our own fault) but superhero Matimba checked in with us multiple times and guided us back on track. I have never had such a friendly and relieved face greet me! Down to Matimba. This man plays so many roles, Reserve Manager, Ranger, Host, Guide, Photographer and the list goes on. We had the honor of going on a game drive with Matimba - what a Blessed drive! To see the love and passion for wildlife in Matimba's eyes is truly something special. I strongly believe Matimba's compassion, warmth and friendly welcome made our stay worth more than words can explain. Well done to you Sir Matimba!
