We had an amazing stay at the Canal Street Inn. The hosts are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They are also well informed on the goings-on in the city. The property is beautiful and lovingly decorated. Our room was huge, with a private bathroom, minifridge and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable - I have back problems and yet I slept very well. The breakfast is just perfect, different dishes every morning -and all of them delicious. The street car, which stops in front of the Inn, will take you straight to the French Quarter. We highly recommend this beautiful Inn. We would love to go back!

Waking up to a home made breakfast on the lawn terrace was beautiful, the scones were absolutely delicious. From the second we arrived on a last minute booking in the evening Robbie and Brian made us feel welcomed like family, and nothing was overlooked-water and soda, coffee, toiletries all provided and the gorgeous room had the most comfortable bed. We had no set plans and stayed in the area on a whim-they made sure we left the next morning with not only the best things to do in the surrounding area that weren’t necessarily on the tourist route, but with an understanding of the local history of the Cajun people and culture. We wish we could have stayed longer and have plans to come back again!
