First of all the welcome and the staff, not only did they accomodate us and provided us with a room early since we arrived with an early flight, but they also upgraded us without even us asking. The pools are just fantastic, easy access, clean, absolutely gigantic so they are never crowded. Beachfront was so quiet and nice, lots of seats and fresh towels, but also kayak, bodyboards, and even a gigantic bucket of kids' toys to play in the sand made available for free. Especially enjoyed the split beaches areas, one for adults with music and a bar, and the second for families, this was perfect. So much activities available to us that we barely scrapped the surface, if you come here for 2 weeks with no plans to move from the resort and have kids you'll get enough to keep them busy. The kid friendly movies next to the beach on the gigantic screen every night, with popcorn or freshly roasted marshmallows. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the person in charge of cleaning our room left us wonderful towels and leaves/flower sculptures almost every day, this is the kind of attention that really shows that they care about their guests feeling welcome. And last but not least, the breakfast was an absolute marvel, delicious fresh juices, many different asian cuisines, european as well, there wasn't enough days in a week for us to try everything available. All in all if we come back to the Khao Lak region for future vacation we'll be back at this Marriott without an afterthought.

You can play billiards at this 5-star hotel. In all my years in Thailand this is the absolute best hotel I can recommend. This is a true 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding and the service is exceptional. The breakfast is perfect with everything you could need, and so is the service. Unfortunately only stayed one night this time but will be back soon.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I really appreciated the option for the french breakfast with real butter! And the view can't be beat - whether that's from the restaurant, the room or the pool. A real gem and I will recommend this place to all those who come to the island :)

The hotel offers a hot tub. You can play billiards, table tennis and darts at this 5-star hotel, and the area is popular for canoeing and cycling. We spent 7 nights there recently with our family (kids 6 and 4) and we loved it! There resort is stunning (like the pics) and the pools kept our girls entertained for large parts of the day but there was also lots of kids activities that we could book them in for as well. The restaurants were amazing , quality food for a very reasonable price, beach bar with live music in the evenings as the sun is setting. The fire shows were awesome on the beach. A huge breakfast buffet (who doesn't love breakfast buffets!) and much more - we will definitely be back! All of the staff were incredibly accommodating and the facilities were kept very clean. The nice team members who kept our room clean made different characters shaped with towels for the first 3-4 nights which our girls loved :)

Large swimming pool, few people. Excellent restaurant nearby, fantastic service. Best breakfast we had in Thailand. We spent a month in Thailand and stayed in 7 different hotels. This was definitely the best of them all.

A private entrance leads guests into the villa, where they can enjoy some fruits. This villa is non-smoking and soundproof. I chose this hotel to propose to my girlfriend, and it turned out to be the perfect decision—not just because of the breathtaking views but also the exceptional service. We stayed for two days in a beautiful villa with a private jacuzzi, and there was also an open pool available for guests. Regarding the dinner, I had arranged everything in advance to surprise my girlfriend and make the evening unforgettable. The hotel staff was incredibly flexible—I sent them a photo for inspiration, and they took care of everything else. To my amazement, they even managed to find a bouquet of red roses! Everything was prepared on time, and they even recorded the moment with a hidden camera. It was the best day of our lives, and we are incredibly grateful to the hotel team for helping us make it so special.

Staffs were very nice , polite and always happy... from manager down to cleaning ladies and gardeners. We will definitely go back there for sure. 🥰
