Booking the superior rooms makes sense as that place is kinda 2 parts- one older and one very nice new part of which u see most pictures. Nice gym and library and some activities such as yoga on SUP which we had so much fun with. They also have a nice spa on site that offers massages and facials. Walking distance to fisherman’s village but just rent a scooter anyways to get around during the day. Buffet Breakfast was very good except the coffee- for some reason that was not drinkable. So we drank tea instead.

We leave this villa with the desire to return here with friends, this is definitely the best place on Koh Samui.

There is also a massage hut available right next to the property wheere you can hear the waves - perfect for relaxing - they are very good, friendly and reasonable prices. Everone were very friendly and June was an absolute star. She organised taxi services, laundry, cleaned and more. I wished we could have stayed here for at least two weeks. It was a great way to start our trip in Thailand. We were able to walk on the beach for miles (especially when low-tide) and there are quite a few restaurants right on the beach. The closest one is the Treehouse - they have excellent food at reasonable prices.

Built in 2013, each bungalow at Moon Cottage is equipped with pretty private gardens and a plunge pool. Fitted with a flat-screen TV, the room also features air conditioning and a large bathroom with shower facilities. Everything was really nice and clean. Loved the pools, the comfy beds, big room, bathroom and huge porch, the chic open air bar and restaurant, the gardens, the ambiance, the breakfast and dinner, the delightful concierge welcome of Philippe, the owner and designer, and his staff. Outstanding service. This gem of a hotel is worth a visit to Koh Samui. Skip the beaches and just hang out at Baan Sawan!
