Happy hour free fruit and drinks were lovely to enjoy by the beautiful pool. And having free airport transfers made getting there and back super easy. My room was exceptional - so roomy, comfy bed, stayed cool even without air conditioning running and the bath was a knock out! All round great experience.

It is right at the center of the old town where plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, and massage places abound. It is also a short walking distance to the two most popular temples in old town Chiangmai. We were particularly pleased and pleasantly surprised when the long road next to the hotel was turned into a night shopping street (apparently this is done every Sunday). Right outside the Old City Spa, is a stand alone travel & tours outlet which sells all the famous Chiangmai day tours at a discount. You cannot find anything cheaper elsewhere. This hotel really has every advantage in terms of location. We also love our room. It is quite big and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the block out curtains helped us have a good night sleep. But the best part of The Old City Rooms is the kindness of the owner. They responded to all our queries in a timely manner, accommodated all our requests, made sure we are always comfortable, and in our last day they even allowed us to use the shower after our day tour before our flight even if it was way beyond check out time (we we're also lucky nobody booked the room for that day so we were allowed to check out late). When you stay at this hotel, do not miss the spa experience, which they offer for guests at a huge discount. Amazing spa facilities. We enjoyed everything especially the ice plunge. This hotel is highly recommended and will be my only go-to hotel every time I'm in Chiangmai.

She gave us many recommendations of what to do in Chiang Mai, and was very helpful and sweet with us. Always with a smile, and worried if everything was okay with us, and if we were comfortable. It felt like home! The breakfast is also amazing. The pictures are truthful to the place, and the pool is also very nice.

The staff at the hotel is exceptionally friendly, we got a free room upgrade and lots of welcome snacks which was a nice surprise. The room and bathroom were big, clean and nicely decorated. The pool and fitness area were great too. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay.
