So much to like. First, the location is in the old town with Walking access to some of the major historical sites. Staff, particularly Rodrigo at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Rodrigo offered us Porto wine and chocolates on arrival, booked restaurants and made recommendations. The Turkish bath and pool were wonderful to come home to after sightseeing. I will definitely come back here on my next visit to Porto, the hotel itself is beautiful, an oasis in the heart of the city

Paraiso Douro offers a hot tub. We stayed at the bungalow and it was 100% worth it. Best view of the valley, totally private and room was so comfortable and great! Breakfast is amazing too. Wish we had stayed longer!

Speaking English, Spanish, French and Portuguese, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay. One of the friendliest, familiar hotel whenever we visited. Simply, we felt ourselves at home! What we liked extremely, the flexibility of the team. Even the laundry service is officially 48 hours, but as we had only 2 nights here, the staff managed the shorter laundry time. The breakfast was one of the best in Portugal, if not the best one! Parking is possible, opposite to the hotel there is a guarded parking place, but I guess reservation in advamce is needed.

Room and bed were so comfy, breakfast was delicious. Close to everything....loved it. Just perfect 💕 spend my birthday here. A real treat ;)

Beautiful place if you are traveling in north Portugal and the huge plus is the 3 minutes walk from the hotel to the adventure park. Hotel is lovely with an amazing outdoor pool, great service, option for a chef dinner that we enjoyed. we took the suite room and the only issue with that is the bed, which was too soft for us and not really comfortable. Area is so green and great for hiking.
