The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was a decent size, with great views of the sea and mountains. The facilities were very good, with an indoor and an outdoor pool. The view from the cliffs was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, with friendly hotel staff and a good selection of breads, cereals, cooked food, fruit, cheeses and so on.

A game of tennis can be enjoyed on the court, located a 2-minute walk from the Estalagem Da Ponta Do Sol. Guests can also relax the spa & wellness centre where a sauna and massage therapies are provided. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

Great hotel in a central location. Staff were so friendly and even gave us a free upgrade. Rooftop pool was amazing.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has a sun terrace and a hot tub. We have stayed in Madeira in different places and this was by far the best one we have had! It was super duper clean, fully equipped and the host was extremely helpful and very kind and put fresh vegetables and fruits of her garden in the kitchen so we can all have them! They were delicious! I can whole heartedly recommend this stay!!!

One of the best places I have stayed. I'm a nature person, so therefore having a rocky interior was amazing. The location is perfect, the view is also awesome. Quiet , suitable for a romantic vacantion . The facilities (the pool, jacuzzi) is just a bonus even if you have kids. Overall 💯
