Breakfast was amazing and eating at one table with other guests just makes it even better. Vera, who took care of us just put this stay to another level. She made us feel like at home and beyond that other hotels should learn from her. Lovely place to stay...homely & peaceful, just the sounds of the birds & animals. I enjoyed the interactions with the animals, especially the donkeys & cat. Owner is very kind & gave me a lift to the ferry. Welcome basket, including some homemade jam. Rooms are light & airy with views to the sea (& São Jorge island on a clear day). The village & shops are just a short distance down the hill & there are swimming places nearby.

The property has a seasonal outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna and garden. Very nice and new hotel, comfortable room, good breakfast. SPA is small, sauna not working well.
