Setting is on peaceful property in the countryside outside Lousa. We stayed in the separate small cottage which was comfortable and would highly recommend. Quiet and a nice change from busy Lisbon. Exceptional breakfast each morning with fresh figs picked by Maria and homemade jams she makes from fruits grown on property along with pastries, fruits, meat and cheese; selection of breads, etc. Great value for the money. The host was welcoming, and the hotel has a nice view. They offer a good breakfast, and everything was clean. The hotel also has a sauna and jacuzzi, though it was a bit crowded. The room had a clean, large bathtub and a decent size.

Guests can swim in the pool with a view, go hiking or walking tours, or relax in the garden and use the barbecue facilities. Very nice place with nice hosts. Very quite and it has a pool + hot tub as well as an outdoor gym. If you love nature and the feeling of community you will probably like it. It has a small breakfast but there is always someone ready to help you out if you need something else. If you enjoy a place that feels like a community with a lot of events (like yoga classes or even late-night fire pits) its the right place.
