Room was nice, bed was comfy and I had access to the living room and kitchen. This is not a house and the host lives there. Despite that I had all the privacy in whole house and felt extremely welcomed. Host even prepared snacks/dinner for me. Can nothing than reccomend this place to everyone passing by Wellington/Upper Hut - only 20 minutes drive to downtown

We appreciated the electric blanket, the breakfast bar in our room and the little table right outside the room surrounded by lavender, it was the best setting for breakfast in the garden. The property also has a pool and a jacuzzi and it's close to the beach.

Our hosts allowed us a late check-out which gave me time to pop down to the river and catch a number of trout on the fly rod before our departure. We enjoyed walking around the garden, tasting some of the wines and learning more about recent vintages and characteristics the region for wines.
