Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, especially at Christmas. The hotel is positioned by a small lake lovely for walks or a morning run. Plenty of nearby restaurants but quiet surroundings. The rooms were comfortable clean and well equipped. Easy free parking right outside. We used the restaurant for breakfast and for evening drinks and were pleased with quality and value.

This is a most unique place to stay. The house sits at the end of a private avenue of cherry trees and nestles in an idyllic garden setting. Our stay at Conach House was awesome! The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Even though we arrived super late, Megan made sure we found everything. Breakfast was very good and already waiting for us in our room, to eat whenever we wanted. The hot tub was a nice bonus as well. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definetly come back for a longer stay :)

Incredible views right across the sea to the Coromandel Peninsula. The room is a very good size, with an extremely comfortable bed. This is a rural retreat, a long way from amenities and restaurants, and a farm stay, with chickens running around in the garden outside. So if you are looking for a very relaxing retreat, to unwind and soak up the views, and are happy to cook for yourself a bit (double halogen hob, microwave, full size fridge freezer) with friendly hosts then I can warmly recommend this lovely place. If you want shopping and restaurants on your doorstep, or are phobic of birds, then this wouldn't be the place for you. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the hot tub! And the amazing expanse of the stars at night! I loved it!
