10/10 for absolutely everything! First things first, Denis, our host was absolutely fantastic and accommodating for us to check in late so we can enjoy the lovely weather. He also gave us really good trail recommendations since our plans to do the Crossing have been cancelled. The room itself was big, clean, comfortable with a huge bed and new facilities in the bathroom and kitchen. The shower was a delight! And to top everything, there is a hot tub to enjoy after a long day of hiking. Best place in NZ so far.

The house was perfectly set up for our stay and the jacuzzi was so refreshing after the day's hike. Idyllic location, would have loved to stay longer.

The place was incredibly clean and neat. Daily house keeping was appreciated. Having 2 bathrooms made such a difference. Kitchen was well equipped even for a small kitchenette. Staff were so friendly. The place was warm before we got there and stayed very warm the whole time even heating in the bathrooms. Was a very comfortable, pleasant stay. Close to everything in town.
