Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides home away from home accommodation with own parking and decks plus private in room free Wi-Fi with smart TV's. Some chalets have mountain views. We have a 16 person meeting room, access to 3 deep soak hot tubs, infrared sauna and a vending machine for drinks and snacks plus a Bike washing station. Very nice place and fully equipped. Water pressure was amazing and place was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and nice to have a washer and dryer. Wifi was very good.

All accommodation is heated and features a private bathroom, refrigerator and TV. Wi-Fi access is available. Apparently the rooms were renovated 5 years ago but they are still spotless. Real quality in the kitchen, wonderful comfortable bed and the first bathroom on our trip that didn’t have some sort of issue, in fact it was super. Great location, super friendly and helpful hosts , I doubt there’s much better comfort and value in Okakune .

The chalet was gorgeous—super cozy and well set up—and the location was amazing, and the owner was lovely and made everything really easy. Already keen to book our next trip!

Great selection of facilities. Very good internet. Fantastic high powered shower. Comfortable bed. Very close to the newly finished Te Ara Mangawhero cycle track.
