Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. The staff were exceptional, so informative, friendly, relaxed, approachable and warm, yet professional. They made a special effort for my husband's birthday which we really appreciated. Being on the overnight cruise gave us such a depth of experience of the stunning Milford Sound that we couldn't have had any other way. Swimming, kayaking, seeing dolphins, the incredible scenery, and the delicious food- we highly recommend this once in a lifetime cruise. Thank you!

Nice and quiet place outside the city. Very fancy place close to the nature and animals. Neighbors has horses! I loved the privacy and really nice rooms with fireplace, hot hot tub, great coffee, family cat and dog and off course Jan & Jeff, was so so lovely that after 4 nights there I felt as I was leaving from my parents hose. I have been traveled a lot, but this house vibe and the people there was something different. Something for me to feel like I was at home.

The owners are very nice. It is a very spacious and quiet. Great fire place with plenty good fire wood. It was a great pleasure staying there. We had all the equipment and appliances that we needed, including washing machine and a dryer. Tips for guests: make sure you arrive there in daylight to make it easier to notice signs leading to the place. Read the owner's instructions and guidance well before arrival, including the WiFi code in case you need to call the owner with WiFi before you enter the house. Please be aware that there are no shops in the vicinity. It is highly recommended to buy your groceries in advance. The only restaurant which is within a reasonably short drive - closes early. The nearest food shop is a 15-20 minutes drive away, doesn't have much stuff and closes early. There is a pub near this shop which closes at about 10pm, to be verified. The kitchen closes much earlier. It is better to learn the area well in advance.
