Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. This hotel features a hot tub, a ski drying room and shared lounge and laundry facilities. The food was lovely but quite expensive but then I never go out. Lovely old world charm comfy couches roaring fires lovely atmospheres. The shower was amazing and a huge luxury to have a bath.

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Set on 2 acres of gardens featuring native trees, tulips, roses and fruit trees, the spacious grounds include a covered BBQ area with picnic tables.

The children’s playground has a trampoline and swings. Guests can relax in the wooden hot tub, which features views of the gardens and mountains (charges apply). Wanaka is an amazing place to stay. I get the impression that most travellers use Wanaka as a stop off to the Glaciers like we did. If i was planning my trip again I would spend at least a few nights in Archway motel, Wanaka. The hosts Jacqui and Mark can not do enough for you, they really are the best hosts you could wish for. Mark went out of his way to help my wife and I reschedule our trip to the Glaciers following the road closure at Hass. I can not think him enough for his reassuring assistance. Add to the above, the chalets are extremely high-end, comfort, quality, home from home. My wife and I would stay here again and for longer if we get back to NZ. Fantastic hotel . Superb comfortable room with 2 queen beds . I only wish we had been staying longer to use the facilities .

Located in Twizel, Ben Ohau Villa provides accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. The villa has a picnic area and a hot tub. This property was stunning. We used it as a base for snowboarding Ohau and treble cone. The fireplace & hot tub were a massive hit for us after the hill. Star gazing was also impeccable from the back yard! We also checked out the lake nearby (recommended from the host in their welcome book) and had a quick cold water plunge. Whole experience was excellent. Comfy beds. We will be back.

Featuring a restaurant, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy mountain views. The staff was very nice and helpful even though we checked in late. There’s even a complimentary wine.

The air-conditioned holiday home consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and a hair dryer. Guests can take in the views of the sea from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. We enjoyed staying at this perfect tiny house. Great style and views. Perfect hosts.

The property has an outdoor dining area. This is a dream property with amazing hosts. You feel welcomed the moment you enter the gate. They have created such cozy spaces for guests and the provide great amenities like coffee and tea, toast and other small breakfast items. I appreciated the small fridge in the room, pressure in the shower and how quiet it was at night. I also walked to town and it was easy and fun. There’s a lot to do in this part of the world! The units include a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. A beautiful house on the hill with a great view of Tasmania Bay. Wake up in the morning and look out at the bay as you drink your coffee. Very comfortable bed with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Property was clean, modern and great views. The property and facilities were fantastic with a well equipped kitchen with equipment designated to each station with a range of bbq facilities too. We stayed here as it was the near the airport so only stayed one night which was a shame and wish I booked a few more nights here.
