Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, especially at Christmas. The hotel is positioned by a small lake lovely for walks or a morning run. Plenty of nearby restaurants but quiet surroundings. The rooms were comfortable clean and well equipped. Easy free parking right outside. We used the restaurant for breakfast and for evening drinks and were pleased with quality and value.

Tony & Jill were wonderful and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Tony helped carry our suitcase from the car to the studio at the back of the property. The pool and Jacuzzi were a fabulous added bonus. The icing on the cake was the G&T our hosts gave us by the poolside. Outstanding! At the same time we had privacy as the studio is completely seperate from the main house. The Studio is in a wonderfully landscaped garden with a wide range of plants & trees. The accommodation is “compact and bijou”, but has everything you might need. Very cleverly designed. There is outside seating areas with a small table and two chairs to sit & watch tv. At the end of the stay our hosts said we could check out later if we wished. Very relaxed family oriented hosts, who gave us great information about the town, and where to eat and visit etc. Small continental breakfast that was very tasty. We were also given a lovely homemade slice, to have with a cuppa when we arrived as well. 😋 Highly recommended!
