It’s a fabulous place to be both active and relax: it’s right on the Queen Charlotte Track, we borrowed the kayaks, and we swam in the water. We also enjoyed sitting in the hammocks and relaxing in the hot tub. The food was delicious (though I found the prices a bit high for NZ) and enjoyed in their lovely dining room or patio. The service was great! We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for two nights with our family and It was a little bit of a splurge, but did not disappoint! The location was stunning, the fact that you got there by water taxi made it remote and uncrowded, and there were plenty of things to do (hike, paddleboard, kayak). Also, the food was delicious and the staff was accommodating and helpful.
