The underwater observatory, which is free to guests was particularly good and the guide was particularly knowledgeable and interesting. It was very well done and an unexpected highlight

Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Very quiet and peaceful location. Quite handy to Picton and bays along the way. Hot tub was prepared for us and quite a bonus. Welcomed and shown the facilities by a local for the owner.

Rhonda and Max were wonderful welcoming hosts. They provided homemade bread and fresh eggs from their chickens as well as honey that Max had made.. The view from the balcony was beautiful over the town of Picton and the Queen Charlotte sound. The apartment was big and comfortable, modern and well equipped. A great experience because of their warmth and hospitality.
