The hosts were wonderful, the apartment absolutely perfect, warm, cosy, filled with everything you need including excellent filter coffee. In three weeks travelling in Norway this must be our favourite place to stay.

Røros Hotell lies surrounded by mountains in the UNESCO-listed town of Røros. It offers rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen TVs. Røros town centre is an 8-minute walk away. Absolutely comfy place. Staff is so cheerful. The food was good. The lovely swimming pool area. Clean. It is located in quite a place not far from the centre.

Unicare Røros is a rehabilitation center open to guest when available. This accommodation is 200 metres from Røros Museum, in the UNESCO-listed Røros town centre. It offers free parking. I enjoyed the location because it wasn’t in the heart of the city and allowed some peace and quiet in the outskirts. The heated floors in the bathroom were a pleasant surprise, I’ve never encountered that before in all my travels.
