Our accommodations were very comfortable and the design was spectacular. We particularly loved the big windows to enjoy the view. We enjoyed the fish soup, reindeer pizza and Oreo cake for dinner, everything was delicious. Hanna also prepped us sandwiches for take away since we were leaving early morning and would not have been able to enjoy the breakfast.

We absolutely loved the view and the peaceful neighbourhood—it was calm, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind. On our second night, we were lucky enough to spot an amazing aurora right outside the house, an unforgettable experience that made the trip even more special. Another highlight was the short hike that starts just a walking distance from the house. The trail was easy to access, and the view from the top was simply fantastic. Overall, a serene and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Senja!

The lodge with a terrace and sea views features 5 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and 1 bathroom with a bath or shower. Towels and bed linen are featured in the lodge. We were amazed by the size of the place, we thought it would be cramp with 5 rooms but it did not feel cramp at all for the 5 of us. The house has all the utensils you need to cook, do note the fridge does not have a freezer but no issue for us as we were there during winter. Unfortunately we only saw the northern lights for a few minutes during our 3 nights stay and a very weak one too, due to cloudy skies, low solar wind and bright moon. Nonetheless the surrounding area was beautiful and we had the balcony to look out to the opposite side Katherine was very hospitable and responsive. She took great pride in decorating her place with all the Christmas decoration, lighted fireplace, candle light to welcome us. Definitely a place to book!

The rooms are newly built and are super clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast next morning was amazing! If you are planning to catch a ferry next day from Gryllefjord to Andenes, this is a perfect stop over as it’s just 10 minutes drive to the ferry terminal.

It’s really quiet The cabin is really clean and almost fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils. It has the basic cooking stuff except oil which we went to a mini mart to buy. Although there was no washer or dryer in the cabin, the resort is kind enough to allow us to use the washer and dryer on site ( but you would need to have your own laundry powder). We love the breakfast provided as you could order what you love to have from the list they provided. The servers and reception staffs are very friendly, helpful and kind. We strongly recommend this place if you want a lovely and quiet place to stay in Senja
