It's a gem on a Norwegian Island, so please pick up after yourself and be logical about how to prepare and what to expect in secluded surroundings.

The home was even more lovely and larger than expected. We didn’t end up using the BBQ hut but it was a really cool, cozy space. Right down the street from the 24/7 market. Hosts were very responsive and kind.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking apartment has a hot tub. Our stay at this apartment in Senja was truly wonderful. We absolutely loved the view and the peaceful neighbourhood—it was calm, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind. On our second night, we were lucky enough to spot an amazing aurora right outside the house, an unforgettable experience that made the trip even more special. Another highlight was the short hike that starts just a walking distance from the house. The trail was easy to access, and the view from the top was simply fantastic. Overall, a serene and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Senja!

The lodge with a terrace and sea views features 5 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and 1 bathroom with a bath or shower. Towels and bed linen are featured in the lodge. We were amazed by the size of the place, we thought it would be cramp with 5 rooms but it did not feel cramp at all for the 5 of us. The house has all the utensils you need to cook, do note the fridge does not have a freezer but no issue for us as we were there during winter. Unfortunately we only saw the northern lights for a few minutes during our 3 nights stay and a very weak one too, due to cloudy skies, low solar wind and bright moon. Nonetheless the surrounding area was beautiful and we had the balcony to look out to the opposite side Katherine was very hospitable and responsive. She took great pride in decorating her place with all the Christmas decoration, lighted fireplace, candle light to welcome us. Definitely a place to book!

The apartment was comfortable, warm and equipped with everything you need, with a beautiful view from the living room window. Kristin was always available for contact, extremely nice and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back one day!

Dinner meals featuring Senja ingredients can be ordered in advance with the kitchen. A mind relaxing, magical and peaceful surroundings. A real Gem. So glad I found this place

Local, traditional dishes are served in the restaurant on request. A great place to stay in a beautiful corner of Northern Norway. If you are traveling alone, make sure to book the bunk bed room. It has better view than most other more expensive rooms. May be a bit tight for two people, though.

Impeccable service, both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are incredibly delicious (the specials we had was perfectly done), cabin is cozy and comfortable, clean and warm. The surrounding views are simply stunning, staff actually took the initiative to inform us of the northern lights (big big thank you), facilities were complete and very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here and just wished that we had a longer stay. In summary, I wish I can find a better word than PERFECT to describe Senja By Heart!! Thank you very much for making our stay in Senja such a memorable one!!
