We loved our stay here, the room is very comfortable and the balcony overlooking the trees was a nice place to relax. The kids enjoyed the warm pool. We also took the safari from the hotel and it was a very nice experience. The host is very welcoming and attentive to details. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka here and the buffet dinner is very very good.

The Cottage is situated in a quite location but is still very close to the center. The shower was beautiful and also the garden area very nice. Food was great and also the host was very friendly and helpful with safari and daytrip bookings.

Very hostile and communicative owner. Very nice and quiet place. Just monkeys sometime run over the roof and make noise. Accomodation is roughly 600m from the elephant orphanage. There is nothing in direct vicinity but jungle. Good breakfast after safari. Safari arranged by the owner, we got picked up directly in the accommodation.

The couple that run the resort were lovely and helped us out with everything we needed, including getting laundry done. We booked a 4 hour safari morning tour with them and it was amazing! The guide spoke English really well and took us to the parts of the park that didn’t have as many other jeeps around for quiet time with the beautiful elephants. We had dinner and breakfast at the property, it was very tasty and good price! Our room looked out into the jungle and was so peaceful.

Asanka is a great guy. He arranged everything for us. The safari trip with Janaka, the amazing tour guide, was incredible, the dinner at the cottage was very good, very comfortable and cool. Amazing structure. Don't miss the opportunity to visit him and his wife.

Beautiful, quiet location. The lodge is excellent, the best quiet environment I had in Sri Lanka, the jacuzzi tub is perfect for a dip after a long safari. The owner and staff are very friendly. The lodge also organized my private safari and my guide, driver Janaka, was excellent. I actually liked my Udawalawe safari better than the one I did in Yala.

From the moment I booked, the owner was in touch and super helpful. Even though he lives abroad, he made sure everything was taken care of and that we were happy. You don’t often see that level of communication and care. Getting to the villa is an adventure in itself. It sits right on top of a mountain, and the hotel provides both the off-road vehicle and the skilled driver you’ll need to get there. Once you’re at the top, the views are absolutely jaw-dropping and the weather shifts constantly, so the scenery feels alive and always changing. The villa is just beautiful. A mix of stone and wood that feels both rustic and luxurious. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Outside there’s a pool with an incredible view, and inside you’ve got a pool table, big flat-screen TV, and a sound system you can crank up without worrying about disturbing anyone, since the villa sits on its own massive 25+ acre estate. Total privacy. RSpecial thanks to Ravi, the host, who looked after us with such professionalism and warmth. He made sure we were comfortable at every moment. And the food? Honestly next level. The owner had told me they serve more than what you pay for, but I didn’t realize just how true that was until we sat down. Every meal was generous, beautifully presented, and delicious. The dishes just kept coming until we couldn’t eat another bite. If you’re after breathtaking views, complete privacy, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place. We loved every minute and would come back in a heartbeat.

One of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka. We booked it completely exhausted when we were 5 minutes away from the place, and when we arrived, there was no one, but in about 30s Marjan arrived on his motorbike telling us that he lives 5min away and came straight when he saw a new booking. He instantly made us feel welcome and made us welcome fresh drinks. Since they also had a jeep, they offered us a morning Safari for a great price, which was absolutely stunning. When we came back, we received another complimentary fresh juice! Marjan was absolutely wonderful. We asked for lunch and he went above and beyond and cooked us multiple wonderul meals we couldn't even finish. The place was very clean, and truly a great experience! However! When looking for the place, look for signs, as google maps doesn't actually have the street that its on in its maps. The signs showed us the way - google maps was wrong.

The Glenrock is located in Belihul Oya, on the southern slopes of the beautiful hill country of Sri Lanka. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV, and a seating area for your convenience. I mean, where do I even start. The property itself is stunningly beautiful, accommodation plush and food excellent but the people and service are what really set this resort apart from others. The staff particularly Asanka and Thusith. These guys did more for me than any other resort experience I have ever had. Traveling alone by motorcycle I had no cell service, Asanka went so far as to go to town on his own to find me a portable WiFi router not to mention he loaned me his for the day while he was looking for one for me. Thusith took care of me like family with food, drinks, property tour, and insuring my laundry was collected and ready for me. The massage was fantastic from a true professional, he took special attention to the areas motorcycle riding strains. I really cannot thank and say enough good things about my experience. Then, to top it off Alsanka noticed my motorcycle was dripping oil and had one of the crew come take a look. If it wasn’t for this I surely would have blown the engine. He didn’t stop at that he and Thusith rode a scooter to town while I followed and took me to a store with oil, filled it for me and wished me safe travels.
