I’ve said this about many places in Sri Lanka, and it absolutely applies to Sigiriya Forest Edge: the true highlight of this property is the incredible staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and made our stay feel both homey and effortlessly relaxing. We were traveling with a baby, and the team went above and beyond to help — from preparing special meals to arranging everything we needed with care and attention. A very special thanks to Tharindu, who took it upon himself to recover and ship our lost jacket from Colombo all the way to Sigiriya. He was also a fantastic resource, helping us discover other local activities and making our stay even more memorable. As for the hotel itself, we loved being surrounded by greenery — it felt like we were staying among the treetops. Our room was comfortable, peaceful, and well-equipped. Also, heartfelt thanks to the restaurant team, who treated us to some of our favorite Sri Lanka.

Our staying was short but amazing. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is simply perfect to feel like in the jungle but in your own home. The pool and outdoor jacuzzi was like a dream. We have a fantastic stay with our hosts! We stayed in the 2 person room and it was so clean. It was lovely sat on the terrace to have breakfast. It was walking distance to the centre of Sigirya (or a short Tuk tuk ride away). The hosts could not do enough for us, taking us places when they could and giving recommendations! Very well priced and would definitely stay again! The 4 person bedroom is also perfect for a family.
