La Vista Fujikawaguchiko offers 4-star accommodation with a sauna, hot tub and hot spring bath. loved the view from the lobby, breakfast, room size was spacious, open air bath on the patio, view of the lake and mountain from the room. it exceeded my expectations because the view was fabulous, and i was nervous that the images of the 'room' had so many variations i was scared i wouldnt get a private bath view of the volcano, but when we walked into the room I was so happy! it was clear and beautiful each morning and night to sit in the bath and just stare at the view. It was a perfect place to get away from the busy city and just relax in nature

Other facilities include karaoke rooms and a lounge bar. A souvenir shop can be found on the ground floor. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

We only spent one night but found this to be the best value option in Kofu. Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!
