We came to dive in this beautifulk place.It is an exceptional hotel with an extraordinary staff They waited for us athough we we landed late in Tokyo. Though we were lucky to enjoy the shef's breakfast only, it was an exceptional experience! The rooms are spacial, the springs in the place are well organized, just the deepest recommendations from our side. Good places to eat outside, and even without a transfer a good place to to render about, nice views and close to the craters of the voulcanes and to the zoo that is a dream of every child!

This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

Close to a good public onsen and a natural thermal where you can relax soaking your feet in warming waters. Also close to the bus stop that takes to the 7 waterfalls park. I am very grateful to the owner who had sent me by international post a collectors item I could only find in Japan and forgot at the hotel.

Ideally located in the Izu Nagaoka Onsen district, this ryokan provides a terrace, as well as a hot tub. The ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I LOVED this stay. The ryokan is exactly what you want from an authentic Japanese ryokan experience. You are welcomed by the staff and provided a welcome drink. Then you get a tour of the property and your room. The property has all the needed facilities: public and private onsens, massage chairs, coffee/tea/water. The breakfast and diner are 10/10 quality and fresh, we were completely satisfied after. As for a day activity: panorama terrace going with a cable cart to the top of a mountain to view mount fuji: 10/10. Walking distance from the property. The town doesn’t provide much else to do. Room was cleaned daily and the futon beds are made for you.

The property has sea and quiet street views, and is 34 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The ryokan also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The private onsen rooms were great. Both dinner and breakfast are amazing.

The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The hosts took care of us and met us at the station and also gave us a lift on the way back. They do not speak English but communicate via google translator so this is not an issue. The property looks very unusual, feels like in a fairy tale) there is a private onsen available which we did not use as it was too hot (we were in summer). There is also the possibility to take onsen in the room so we utilised it as a foot onsen which was really appreciated after hikes along the Yogasaki coast. The train station is within 20 mins walk and one can use it to explore the Izu peninsula coast. We had a sea view from our room.

The terrace area provides a perfect spot to relax after spending a day on the beach. Outdoor showers can be used after check-out, until 14:00. We enjoyed the location right next to the beach and the Shirahama shrine. We also loved the two onsen baths for which you can get the key at the reception. We also did a small hike from the Tusmekizaki Lighthouse to Suzaki, along the Suzaki walking trail which offered great views of the coast.
