We liked so many things about this place: The room was spacious and very clean. We had a wonderful view of Mt Yotei. Hotel has a public onsen which was never occupied when we went there. The breakfast was top notch: i don’t understand people complaining about the food not being appropriate for western people. You are visiting another country, why would you want to eat the very same food you eat at home? It was beautifully composed and nearly all of it was also really delicious. There is a free shuttle to the slopes and back to the hotel.

Some units at the apartment complex boast a fireplace and a heated pool. Some of the units have a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a hot tub and slippers. In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. Absolutely loved our stay. Room was spacious and clean. Also had a washing and drying machine all in one which was very useful. Staff were very friendly and go above and beyond - special thanks to Sophie, Jessica, Hannah, Zach, Honza, Charlotte and Guy. The concierge team were so knowledgeable and always greet you with a smile which makes your day. The outdoor onsen was spectacular as you can watch the snowfall and feel the coolness of the air and snow whilst in the hot bath.

We loved the ski in/ski out aspect of it but didn't like the steep hill on the other side walking back from restaurants (can't be helped). The car service that was provided by the hotel was great. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Everything in the rooms were exceptional including the private onsen we had in our balcony overlooking the slopes. We even utilized the onsen in our master bath. Closets were good but wish we had some sort of drawers to put clothes in. Kitchen had great appliances plus all the dishes/cups/utensils we needed. It was key to have the laundry in the room.

The holiday home consists of 3 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and 2 bathrooms with a hot tub and slippers. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. House was clean and warm. All household items were as clean as new. The TV was also large. I even liked the bidet in the bathroom.^^ The hot spring water was also really good. I liked the surrounding village as it had a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. There was a large snow field near the accommodation that few people visited, so it was great to play in the snow. My family stayed for 4 nights, and we definitely want to come back next time and stay longer. It was a place I really liked.

Yoshi, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to secure a reservation for us at a local restaurant. The house is nothing short of amazing, living up to the expectations set by the pictures. A standout feature for our group of 5 was the efficient washing machine that effortlessly washed and dried our clothes with a single button press – a convenience we cherished every day. Highly recommended for a seamless and enjoyable stay!
