Everything. From the moment we arrived in front of hotel, until the moment we left the hotel back to airport. Sublime service. The very polite lady from the bell desk even continue waived us good byes accros the street! That was really touched our hearts. We have been around the world staying in top luxury resorts and hotels, but we never encountered such personal attention and care to their guests! Simply amazing service culture! Staff were really friendly and go all out to make you feel comfortable. Although the house has a history of 150 years old, there were technology such as sound sustem, projector and even Karaoke over the BBQ dinner. Definitely recommended to have a stay

i like this hotel. the room is awesome & comfortable. staff is polite & helpful. the reason that i booked this hotel is because of the in room onsen, and it really impressed me & i would hope to visit again!!! we drive ourselves, the road to the hotel is abit small & difficult to find, a bit far from the town but not a issue for us as we are driving on our own. so everything for me is good 😊😊

It’s beautifully decorated and we love both the outdoor and indoor onsens!! The food is fantastic as well!! Service staff spoke some English and all very professional and helpful. I love the location as well. Very central and so close to everything!

Staying in this beautiful, comfortable, rustic riverside guest house was one of the most notable moments of my whole travels. The lady that runs it is the sweetest and kindest person I have ever met. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Yakushima and the Jomonsugi hike. The rooms are comfortable and clean as those of any ryokan, and there are large onsen style baths free to use. You absolutely MUST stay here if you plan on staying anywhere on the island. Its worth every yen.
