The accommodation is soundproof. Beautiful property. Very modern and the owner has put much thought into all the facilities. The rooms were spacious and the location was amazing.

Loved the design of our room and having 2 separate beds allowed us to rest and recharge. Sadly we had only 1 onsen on the balcony, so we took turns with my husband. There was a cd player with several Jazz collections. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff made sure to explain the menu and answer all the questions we had. Most of the time they’d use the portable translators. Hot springs/ spa area was rotated every morning, so we got to experience both bath areas. My favorite treat was the vinegar drink after the baths.

12 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, YUPOPPO Hakone is a recently renovated property situated in Hakone and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Each accommodation at the 2-star ryokan has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot spring bath and a hot tub. The ryokan has parking on-site, a public bath and a housekeeping service. Very nice ryokkan and owner! Would recommend! A bit far from the center but a great way to escape from all the tourists and many options to have dinner nearby + bus stop very close.

Staffs were very nice, the location was comfy as well. The room has no windows but it was very nice to rest and sleep. Wish that the breakfast has more options but all in all everything was good.

Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Gora Kadan is a member of Relais & Chateaux. The room was incredibly gorgeous. The staff was very friendly, specially our assigned assistant. The dinner menu was very good as well and the beef short course was the best beef I had in my Japan stay.
