This is such a beautiful property. Smelling like pine as soon as you enter, the house has a beautiful feel and openness to it. We were a big group travelling together and the multiple toilets and big dining area meant we all were able to enjoy the space comfortably. Great location, walking distance to the station and close to convenient stores and restaurants. If I came back to Mito I would not hesitate to stay here again. The ease of check in and check out and communication was all so great.
Directly connected to JR Mito Train Station, Hotel Terrace offers an Italian restaurant, a public bath and a sauna. The modern rooms come with an LCD TV and free WiFi access.

Most convenient location in the centre, close to the railway / bus stations. Many restaurants and shops are also in the closest vicinity of the hotel. Reasonably close to the river, lake to have a nice walk. Beatiful gardens also in the walking distance. Best room hotel service.

The location is excellent. The staff is very welcoming, warm and accommodative. We reached 2 hours late, at 11.30 pm in the night. The reception person welcomed us warmly so late in the night and told us how he was just waiting for us to check in.

This is a family owned ryokan and the owner’s daughter speaks perfect English, making the stay easy and also informative. The room we were allocated was typically large with all the lovely additions the japanese people provide.
The onsen was appreciated as was the shuttle service from the station.
