Love the location of the hotel, super convenient as it's at the JR station and there are two big malls adjoining. This is our 2nd time there. The breakfast at hotel is superb. The first time we didn't book the breakfast considering there are many eateries just next to hotel. This round we decided to try the breakfast, we were spoilt by the wide selection. Love the croffle, it's the yummiest we ever had. The onsen is not free, need to pay some money (can't remember how much) but it's totally value for money. The onsen is well equipped with Dyson hair dryer, blood pressure monitor machine etc. Love the room toiletries too, which they provide Mikimoto body lotion.

The accommodation offers 4-star accommodation with a sauna, hot tub and hot spring bath. The staff were absolutely incredible; we had to have our bags shipped down to Osaka due to smaller stops in Tokyo and Mt Fuji (too short to be able to guarantee the bags would arrive on time) which is a crazy distance. The ladies at the Information Centre were able to explain the process for this and even drew us a map to get to the shuttle bus to the train station and encouraged us to take a jacket and do a practice walk the night before. The tour we booked was also fantastic, and the food and local beer was great too. The room was incredible; it was so affordable for the space you're given and relaxing in the onsen overlooking the ballpark was an unforgettable experience, they even have snacks and a bar! Everyone we came across was so lovely, even other people staying were interested to hear about our trip as it's not a common place to find foreigners.

The spacious apartment has 2 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, a washing machine, and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower. The air-conditioned unit at the property features a hot tub and a dressing room. This apartment is non-smoking and soundproof. I feel so lucky to have found this place! It’s honestly the most spacious accommodation I’ve stayed in during my trip to Japan. Each floor (both the first and second) has its own bathroom and toilet, which made the stay super comfortable. The location is unbeatable — just steps away from Otaru Canal, dessert shops, sushi street, glass studios, and the music box museum — yet the house itself is tucked inside a quiet residential lane, so it’s peaceful and relaxing. The house also has a small kitchen. It’s not big and is shared with guests from another unit, but it’s fully equipped and very convenient. We sometimes made our own breakfast or heated up food we bought outside — everything worked perfectly. Each room has its own refrigerator, so that’s private, and only the stove is shared, which actually feels safer and more hygienic. I stayed here for three nights, slept incredibly well every night, and it really helped me adjust my jet lag. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Otaru!

Providing free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking apartment features a hot tub. Perfect location and facilities, Cosy place with all you need for mid term travel. One of bed is a little soft but no big issue.

With free bikes, the 1-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation provides free shuttle service and a housekeeping service for guests. I had an amazing time staying at this accoms. The place was exactly as described – clean and cozy BnB. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. For example, when they overheard we wanted to go to Sahoro to ski, they checked the local news and told us the road was closed due to a heavy snowstorm. That saved us a wasted trip! The location was perfect – quiet, but still close to Furano city centre (10mins drive). Would come again!

Set in Kutchan and with Hirafu Station reachable within 12 km, Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono offers concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. 5.2 km from Asahigaoka Park and 5.6 km from Kutchan Station, the property provides a ski pass sales point, as well as ski-to-door access. Guests also enjoy access to the indoor pool and fitness centre, as well as the sauna and hot tub. The property is very modern and relatively new. However, I was impressed by the level of thought that went into every facet of our stay, from the room's views to the design touches, furnishings, and standard amenities. The food in general was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was especially exceptional. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Continental/American style items, but the quality of the local Hokkaido produce and ingredients put it over the top. We ate at two restaurants, an Italian and Japanese grill, as well as the Lobby dining area. All three were fantastic. Their pool and Onsen were modern, spotless, and had plenty of towels (a pet peeve). The service was remarkable as well. Any issues we encountered were dealt with immediately and without any pushback.
