Amazing stay with exceptional service! Convenient to get to goryu/47 and happo one with the shuttles, and can easily get discounted lift tickets from the front desk. Quite a few restaurants nearby (the hosts are super helpful in making reservations, though it can be quite busy, so do book early), and supermarket is about 15 - 20min walk away. Great shared facilities such as private onsen, Nintendo switch games, massage chair/leg machine, and Dyson hair dryers. Breakfasts every morning were different and delicious. Beds and comforters were very comfortable. Always greeted with a friendly smile, and we were dropped off at the bus terminal when we left.

Taka is amazing and such a cool guy, he arranged alt accommodation for us when his place was booked and dropped us off, shuttled our luggage back and forth, boiled eggs for me, had nice yarns with him. His partner and daughter are also amazing so friendly and welcoming! They invited us to a tea ceremony to celebrate the spring coming which was an awesome experience and added bonus to the snowboarding for which we came! Highly, highly recommended if you're coming to Hakuba!!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. We really enjoyed our stay at Pension Tomato. It exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful place to stay for our first visit to Hakuba. Close to the Main Street of Echoland with everything you need. The private onsen after skiing each day was fantastic.

Each accommodation at the 2-star ryokan has quiet street views, and guests can enjoy access to a public bath. The ryokan features family rooms. The location is fantastic for the bus shuttle. Be sure to book with the breakfast and have a dinner there. The breakfasts and the Sukiyaki were some of the best meals I had on my stay in Japan. The room itself is quite spacious than what I was anticipating and the beds keep you warm.

Everything, the room was perfect and warm, koki and Naomi give us excellent service..koki also cook very good dinner and bake a very niceeee bread.. the most delicious bread I ever had in my life.. his bread is a must!!

Three of us stayed here for 5 days. We had the best time! The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with great facilities, including a storage area for all of our ski and snowboard gear. There’s also a bus station right down the street that takes you to Iwatake (which you can then transfer to another bus that takes you to every resort.) The best part were the owners — they were so kind and welcoming even though we did not speak Japanese. They cooked us breakfast and dinner and both were so delicious. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay😁

Loved the touch of the illustrated postcards left as a gift for each of our guests!
