I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The reception team made the check-in process smooth and welcoming, and the managers were always attentive and visible, ensuring every guest felt well taken care of. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. The restaurant was another highlight — delicious food with plenty of options and excellent service. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, making every meal enjoyable. Sunset Hotel is situated opposite the main entrance to Petra (3-minute walk away), in Wadi Mousa. It features free Wi-Fi in public areas and an outdoor restaurant.

The rooms of the hotel Sunset all have a private bathroom with shower. Modern amenities include a air conditioning and satellite TV. It exceeded my expectations, specially because they claim to be 1 star hotel, however they are much more nicer than 3 stars hotels I stayed. Everything clean, maintanable, friendly staff, and the location is perfect for both Petra and restaurants/groceries. Breakfast was also the best I had in hotels on Jordan (keeping the Jordan stay standards: few "western" options).

The property is within 1.9 km of Petra and 2 km of Petra Visitor Centre. The property is non-smoking throughout and is located 3.5 km from Al Khazneh The Treasury. Love the history—it truly felt like we were staying in a historic village. The views over the village and hills were lovely beautiful sunset. And, while it wasn’t next to Petra, it was only a few minutes drive to the Petra entrance (there have a bus but we didn’t use it since we had a car)

The staff from the young man in the evenings, concierge to the lady in the morning for our check out were very professional and delivered amazing customer service. Breakfast was delicious both days we stayed and rooms were spacious, neat and well decorated. You have a botique hotel gem in Petra; extremely recommended to stay here.
