We received a very warm welcome - being picked up by the hotel. The check-in was very thorough and we were told how to navigate the island - even being given bus tickets for free. It’s located on the hillside which makes for amazing views when taking a dip in the pool. The hotel also had a sauna and jacuzzi, and offered a lot of cozy places for sitting down, having a drink/coffee and was very accessible from two roads. I could not recommend this place enough! Hidden gem!

The hosts were the most wonderful we ever met and made sure we were fine and settled the entire stay. They have a restaurant, so really no need to go out 😅 great food, with great gluten-free options!

Situated halfway between Casamicciola Terme and Ischia, 5 km from Baia di San Montano, Villa Araucaria features an outdoor pool and a bar. The Castiglione Thermal Baths are 10 minutes' walk away.

Every room comes with a satellite flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with hydromassage shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Villa Araucaria is a lovely villa that we spent 2 nights in! Carlos and his family go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Quick walk to a bus stop takes you everywhere on the island and not far from beaches along the north of the island! Would definitely return!

The accommodation is air conditioned and is fitted with a satellite flat-screen TV. There is also a kitchen, fitted with an oven, refrigerator and stovetop. Every unit comes with a private bathroom with a bath or shower and a hair dryer. Towels are featured. HIGHLY recommend Residence Villa Cristina if you plan a vacation on Ischia! Each guest has a private apartment and bathroom with a small kitchenette. The residence is in a private, tropical botanical garden with a beautiful swimming pool. Breakfasts (and other meals) are in a beautiful open air covered patio overlooking the swimming pool and palm trees. Recommend the mezza pensione/half board in which dinner is included. The dinners include several antipasti/appetizers, a primo/pasta, a secondo/meat which was usually fresh local fish, dessert, and wine made by the owners. Very good value for the money and everything was freshly made at the moment! A bonus: the best beach on Ischia, San Francesco, is an easy 10-minute walk from the residence. Will definitely return! The staff is like family!

Room was excellent; excellent mattress; ample shelving and drawers; perfect climate control with heat pump; just right bathroom with good shelving. Breakfast was more than ample; hostess/owner was personable, gracious and helpful. Hot pool/Roman bath was an unexpected treat. Perfectly located 30 feet from a bus stop and easily walkable to Sant’Angelo.
