The ubication is fantastic. Most important places are walking near from La Gemma.
But the best of all is the people working at La Gemma, always trying to be helpful and kind. All of us my wife and our friends felt like home. Unfortunately, we had to leave to continue our travel!

A very high quality hotel, decorated with good Tuscan taste, the rooms are equipped with all the necessary equipment, a very comfortable bed. A small high-quality spa, a small pool heated to a temperature of about 35 degrees, there are jacuzzi streams in the pool, a small hammam, a small gym, we received a massage treatment from an excellent therapist. A well-kept, quiet and pleasant dining room with a variety of delicious and fresh food. Excellent staff service. The hotel is located about a 30 minute walk to the city center, the hotel has a shuttle service several times a day round trip, in short an excellent and high quality hotel highly recommended for travelers in Florence

The breakfast was wonderful , vegan diet catered for with a fruit salad. The staff were always pleasant and answered any questions. The rooms were a cool place to get away from the city heat so you can enjoy going out later in the day. The spa with jacuzzi and sauna was relaxing. The location was perfect. A fabulous experience for the whole family!

We had the junior suite which was fantastic! Incredibly spacious and elegant with a massive window with Juliet balcony overlooking the little square. The location was great, without being super busy you were only a few steps from some of the best attractions. We actually only saw the staff on our last day (though we could have seen them before if we had chosen to), which in itself was just the service we were after! The instructions to get in were really clear and overall we just had a great time here. We also loved the jacuzzi bath!

The room is beautiful with a decent size. The bathroom is also nice. I like the fact we had a 3x separate glass shelves in the bathroom to put our cosmetics-
My partner enjoyed using the coffee machine and coffee capsules.
It rained heavily on my first day and was so grateful to be able to use the Spa.
The spa area is great. Was able to use the jacuzzi, sauna, steamed room as well as having bed lounges area to relax. Hot tea available in the Spa was a nice touch. The receptionist was helpful as well as the breakfast and Spa staffs.
