The room was new and modern, clean and spacious. Not exactly in the center of Akureyri but a very short 5-7 min drive which was great. We could park right outside the room and bring in our luggages through the terrace door. Great location for spotting the Northern Lights.

Beautiful house with very well equiped kitchen. Big bonus - hot tubs outside plus beach in front, where we took a cold dip to the sea. It’s perfect place to stop while doing the ring road. It’s very near to supermarket. The view is mesmerizing and it’s the mountain. The hot tub is perfect for a snowy day. The only con is the bbq was not clean but we were able to grill in the oven. Fully equipped kitchen even with waffle maker :)

The lodge offers a hot tub. This cabin was pure magic. Tucked away in peaceful nature, it felt like stepping into a cozy Icelandic dream. Every detail — from the lighting to the decor to the thoughtful little touches — was clearly arranged with care. The space was spotless, warm, and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. We only wish we had booked more nights — it was the perfect place to unwind after long days on the road. The views, the atmosphere, the comfort… everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful stay that still feels close to adventure.

The location was great, a sweeping view of the valley from the hot tub a new sauna with glass door to see the view too! It was immaculate & clean and common/eating room was huge with long tables to eat on and meet people or many sitting areas created in case you want to be alone and chill. Our rooms were great and shared bathroom/showers were a good size and extremely clean! Everything was thought about & functionable...
