Quiet, comfortable and clean cabin.
The hot tub at the end of the day.
The sunset views and the view from the room.

Guesthouse Hvitafell was super clean, I loved it. The hot tub overlooking the valley was excellent and the bed was a 10. The kitchen has all you need, with tea and coffee complementary. All in all just an excellent place to stay in Laugar.

Cottage-like hotel with authentic, quirky Icelandic interior. Conveniently located near Mývatn on Route 1. The staff was extremely friendly and prepared the room way before the official check-in time despite our spontaneous booking and arrival. The room had everything we needed; it was totally quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We did not try the dinner, but the breakfast was pretty good with lots of choice. Two friendly dogs greeted us (they belong to the hotel, apparently). Would come again here any time.

The apartment is fantastic and breakfast is awesome. It's very convenient to look for northern lights from just outside the place.

The room was exactly as described. We checked in and dived in the hot tub with a couple of beers. We then reluctantly decided to have our dinner there and to my surprise the main was amazing. The cod and lamb were cooked to perfection and the rhubarb pie was just incredible. lesson learned...

Everything. Staff were friendly and helpful, food & beer was amazing, facilities were clean and relaxing (hot tub and sauna was great!), convenience (right outside fuel & Pseudo craters and not far from surrounding activities), room was clean and comfortable).
