Overall, I think Le Montfort Resort is a great place to feel at peace during your vacation, it allows to properly take a break from your everyday life and the staff do their best to make it a stress free stay (and they succeed in it!). The location is perfectly located between the trees, away from the noise but a quick walk from the village. Definitely relaxing atmosphere.

The setting on the banks of the Periyar river is absolutely beautiful. Our first floor room had a large balcony with comfortable chairs that overlooked the grounds and the river and we loved watching the birdlife in the trees. Everything is well organised by the friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious and served with great care. The infinity pool is beautiful. We were initially booked for one night and then, to our joy, our flight home was delayed by 24 hours and we were able to stay for a second night. The shop sells lovely cotton clothes which are made on the premises. I had a dress made in just a few hours before we left. Thank you to all at Cranganor for a really lovely stay!
