The elegant dining room serves traditional Irish and continental breakfasts each morning at a cost of €10.50 per person for a Continental Breakfast. There is a lounge in the hotel available, which also has a computer for guests to use. The room was spacious and recently renovated. There were more electric sockets and charging plugs than I have seen anywhere. The heating works well and there was everything I needed in the room. Whitford House Hotel is a family-run property located 3 miles from Wexford town and 17 minutes’ drive from Rosslare Europort. Guests can make use of the leisure club facilities, which include a 20-metre pool, sauna, steam room and a fitness centre. My family had such a great experience in this hotel, the staff is very friendly, the swimming pool is great and the food is of the highest quality cooked with the utmost care. Good location if you are driving as it is very close to some key spots in Wexford. It was challenging to wash the kids' hair as the shower is fixed in the wall.

I had read the great reviews beforehand and was pleasantly surprised to see that they were all spot on. The accommodation itself was great and perfect for us (3 adults, 3 kids). Mike had the fridge stocked with essentials for us, including items for a fry. We had brought a few things ourselves but I don't think we needed to use them. Mike mentioned to us about the bar next door to our farmhouse, "could we pull our own pints?" It was great to be able to have a couple of self poured complimentary pints while playing a game of pool! There was a small outdoor play area for the kids which we didn't get a chance to use properly as we were out most of both days we were there. There was also a communal hot tub and sauna, again we would've loved to use but didn't have the time. I definitely recommend this property for a stay, especially for families. Its about 10mins from Kilkenny and a great base to explore that part of the country.
