Excellent air conditioning (normally we hate it, here it was perfect), and good sound insulation. The swimming pools are a highlight -- this is one of the few hotels where there actually are enough sunbeds for all guests. The hotel is almost directly next to the sea, and it is next to a very nice walkable promenade along the sea with a great many restaurants and shops. The breakfast is outrageously diverse and varied, but we'd have preferred slightly less variety in favor of better quality.

This is an exceptional apartment, situated a short walk from the Old Town. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and equipped with everything that we needed. The views from the balcony were incredible!! Jolanda was the perfect host, she was extremely helpful and communication was outstanding. Fridge stocked with complimentary refreshments, coffee and a bottle of wine. A high standard of cleanliness. Highly recommended.

The nearest beach is only 200 metres away and the centre of Makarska can be reached in a short walk. Our room was very modern, spacious, clean and well equiped with everything you need. Bathroom was also spacious, with good shower. Room had a big terrace with a view to the Biokovo and the sea. Hotel has a great parking garage underneath it, we felt our car was safe at all times, and covered with shade. Only donwside is that parking is not in the price of the stay (10e per day). Location is good, close to the beaches and about 15-20min walk to the old town. It is a bit uphill, but distance from the main bordwalk is short. There is also a supermarket across the road, which is very useful. Breakfast was also pretty good with enough options, but it is pretty much same every day, with some different options every morning - still, we enjoyed it every time. Staff was extremely polite and helpful and always available. Hotel has a great pool also, and lounge area and a bar. They have spa & gym which we didn't use.

In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. Super clean, every day cleaning of the room. Every day changing towels. The welcome of staff and cleaning ladies was super nice. We were treated with sweets and coffee.. The very clean beach was just a steep hill down. Btela center was 12 minutes walk along the beach. Great Wifi
