The best review I can give this place is this- I had such a bad stomach infection coming from Mexico that there seemed no conceivable way I could possibly enjoy this place. I was on such strong antibiotics So the fact that I loved it, and was looked after and everything was so beautiful is a real credit to the place It’s easy to love somewhere when you feel good. I felt TERRIBLE and this place felt like a sanctuary to recover in, in the most beautiful setting

Th gardens and grounds are amazing, close to downtown Panajachel but without the noise. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The this a boat latch from the hotel that is very convenient.

Stunning views, beautiful setting, quiet and away from the town. It felt like taking a vacation, even though I live a couple of miles away. Good facilities for a relaxing stay where you don't need to leave the property.

This hotel is absolutely incredible. We felt like we were in a 5 star not a 3 star hotel. The staff are the loveliest & most helpful people and from start to finish our stay was magical. We will definitely remember it forever it’s a beautiful authentic place with modern facilities, elite attention to detail .. the food is also amazing and a we were spoilt for choice! The grounds of this hotel are spectacular! It is right by the dock, so it is easy to walk to the property. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, considering that there are not a lot of options for dining (we were on foot). The food is exceptional, and plenty of it comes from their organic garden, of which we had a lovely tour. The hotel website offers full details of how community minded and eco-friendly this business is. The pool looks odd because it is dark. However, I imagine it helps heat the water, along with the solar panels. If you are looking for a couple of days in paradise, this is the place. And the view from the restaurant 🤩

Amazing location with absolutely killer views. Surrounded by lush trees and flowers. Abundant birds and butterflies. Five minutes walk to the Nature Reserve (in one direction) and to a good restaurant (with the same amazing view) in the other direction. Lovely staff. Architecturally interesting. Delicious breakfast served with a view like no other! Real personality in every way. If you enjoy staying in a nature paradise, this place just might be for you.
