Add to that a really good restaurant with exceptional breakfast (everything is made to order, no buffet), and the most helpful and friendly staff you can imagine. The bed was super comfortable, which is really important to me.

The amenities include a flat-screen satellite TV, a dining area, minibar and panoramic views. The bathrooms are private and offer free toiletries. We loved our time here. A very tranquil location amongst the rain forest. The staff where excellent, rooms spacious and very comfortable, a great gym for a small hotel and just a nice place to chill.

Hotel Camino Real Tikal has an outdoor pool, hot tub and Temascal sauna. The restaurant serves local and international cuisine and has great lake views. There is also a poolside bar and a bar with a pool table. I have an autistic boy who enjoys seeing the sunset at Peten Itza Lake. I'm really thankful to all the staff who made my son's dream of having a campfire near the lake while enjoying the sunset. Thank you to Martin, Don Hector, Kevin, and all staff for their assistance throughout our stay in the hotel.

The accommodation offers 4-star accommodation with a hot tub. The beautiful scenery nested in nature. The staff are SO LOVELY, kind and attentive and helpful- they all made the stay extra special. The breakfast view of the lake and the wonderful array of birds and animals (spider monkeys!) that can be seen from the property. The relaxing pool area and mirador too! 🩷 great location for tours to Tikal, Yahxa etc. Wish we had more time to explore more of the area and do a bird watching tour too.

Speaking English and Spanish, staff will be happy to provide guests with practical advice on the area at the 24-hour front desk. Such a nice place with a wonderful view. The room was very clean and super comfortable. The atmosphere here was really nice although a bit sad that the water in the whole area is taking over . At the check out we had a little trouble with the included breakfast via booking.com but in the end, after a short call with the manager the owner talked to the staff of the hotel and made everything clear. It's been a very nice place and we would always recommend to others! 😀
