The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean and very spacious, which was perfect for my family—I stayed with my wife and two children. We booked the half-board option and really enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast provided; the food was delicious and satisfying. The hotel is located close to Mystras, a historic fortified town in Laconia, Peloponnese, situated on Mount Taygetus above ancient Sparta. In 1989, the ruins of Mystras—including the fortress, palace, churches, and monasteries—were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site features a museum and partially restored ruins that are absolutely worth visiting. I would definitely recommend Kyniska Palace to anyone visiting the region. It’s a great base for exploring the rich history of Mystras while enjoying comfort and great hospitality.

The complex boasts a large swimming pool with hydro-massage section for adults and a separate smaller one for children. An info kiosk providing information on excursions in the area is also featured. The entire staff is simply amazing. Katerina and her husband and the woman at breakfast (unfortunately I didn't remember her name) were always kind and answered all our questions. Breakfasts are very rich and tasty, most of the products are homemade. We had a room 202 with a view of the sea and the pool, spacious and with everything you need. There is a mini market within a 2 minute walk, the beach is also very close, 2 minutes with the car and maybe about 10 minutes walk by foot. It is only a 10 minute drive to Monemvasia. We only came for two days, but everything was amazing, we would like to stay longer !
