I was given a complimentary upgrade which was such a unexpected surprise.

We have large, attractive rooms which all have TVs, free Wifi, a hospitality tray including biscuits and water. Due to such low demand we are no longer serving breakfast at the hotel. Nice room and hotel. Very clean.

The bed was comfortable, we enjoyed the spa facilities (the temperature in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steam was perfect). Food was very good. The staff was amazing and very friendly. We recognised a reception manager from our last visit and were happy to see her, she is always so thoughtful. Also the waitress at Nelson pub was superb. Everyone was very nice! It was our second visit and we will be definitely coming back again.

Facilities like Spa, sauna, swimming pool, lounges, etc. are very much all top notch.

The Bowood Hotel, Spa, and Golf Resort features a luxury spa with superb facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, rock sauna, crystal steam room, aromatherapy shower, relaxation room and treatment rooms. We had the most wonderful staycation at Bowood and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff, food and facilities were all so fantastic. We saw so much wildlife while enjoying a coffee on the terrace, which added even more magic to our stay. We will be back for sure.

The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

The spa facilities were very good, though a little crowded for the size. The spa treatments were exceptional. The breakfast also was exceptional.
