I adored every little detail – from the cozy atmosphere to the incredible hot tub, which was absolutely divine. I’m already looking forward to coming back and will definitely plan another trip to Scotland just to stay here longer. The hosts were exceptionally kind and attentive, making the experience even more special.

Very well located, clean and complete cottage (ranging from modern kitchen utensils to the huge interactive flatscreen tvs in every room). The common area with a table tennis, table football and pool table was another plus. Oh and the hot tubs are amazing! Takes a bit of time to heat them up but then they are just fantastic.

There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We would rate 12 if we could! This stay far exceeded our expectations. The grounds are lovely, the owners are welcoming, and everything was extremely comfortable and spotless. We enjoyed our breakfast and loved playing with the owner’s sweet dog Ellie. ♥️

Situated in Aberfoyle, 10 km from Lake of Menteith, Crannaig House features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. It is located 16 km from Loch Katrine and provides bicycle parking. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Shaun and Kate are perfect hosts. We felt at home right from the start. The house is tastefully decorated with a sense for the details and the room was large, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom had a window and a bathtub with a modern shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Although we didn't use it, there is also a nice hot tub in the large garden. There are numerous bird feeders all around the premises and it was joyful to watch the birds during our meals and from our room. We enjoyed the three course dinner as well as the breakfast freshly made with lots of love. We had interesting conversations with our kind hosts and would love to come back in the future. The location is perfect for visiting nearby attractions.
