Fresh and clean, two bedrooms with the bonus of an outside spa. It would be a lovely place to spend several days exploring the area. Claire was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating of our requests.

We were really happy with our choice of Au gré du Lot! Excellent location, between Rocamadour and Figeac, with plenty of picturesque places to visit in the area and the hosts gave us valuable recommendations, from restaurants and broquantes to villages ranked among The Most Beautiful Villages of France. The place exudes elegance and peace of mind. We had the Deluxe suite - the room and bathroom are spacious and tastefully decorated. Although our room faced the street, we slept excellently. As we had very hot days, we opened the windows at night (thanks for the advice, Christophe) and it was very pleasant. It was a pleasure to start each day with a breakfast in the garden, and Tethys and Gaia kept us discreetly company in the evenings spent on the terrace. The bed and breakfast features some units that have a balcony and pool view, and each unit has a private bathroom and a wardrobe. Guests can grab a bite to eat in an outdoor dining area at the bed and breakfast. The location is fantastic with great views. The owner/host is also fantastic - greeting us each morning at breakfast and advising us on our planed activities. Our room was very large and comfortable. We stayed seven nights when most would stay 2 or 3 only.

At the bed and breakfast, each unit includes a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. A fridge and kettle are also available. The units are equipped with heating facilities. The fact that it was very clean and this is absolutely not always the case in France, very quiet, nice breakfast and on some evenings a very good quality three course diner. Lovely small villages to visit nearby. Beautiful rural region. Excellent quality for a fair price.
